Ive just set up a transferwise account and am looking at switching my iberdrola,  hidraqua and suma direct debits.

I'm worried about above comment about Iberdrola rejecting iban - is this just a one off issue ? Also does anyone have a phone number for hidraqua where i can call from uk and they speak english please...

...

Hi Tllymint

I have eventually managed to set up Iberdrola, Hidraqua I sent the request but as yet no confirmation, community fees wouldn't accept so I did a bank transfer, solicitor deals with Suma.

Regards

Andrew

Thats good to know thankyou. My solicitor also deals with suma so I have emailed them and I have had email back from iberdrola. I am having problems contacting hidraqua from uk as their online form requires a spanish phone number but someone has suggested using my solicitors number so may try that. Would be handy to know I can call them and pay by card if direct debits get rejected.

Hi Tillymint

Ask your solicitor to arrange it for you as you have to complete a form online which you can't do without an old invoice to set up the online access, I eventually got an invoice sent through and completed the form that was before Christmas.

I paid the last bill using my card, dont forget if you have internet and Tv these dd's will require changing also.

My lawyer gave them the IBAN when I purchased the property. I didn't change from another bank. Just letting you know that payment using the TW IBAN is not a problem

I am in the process of opening a transferwise account to pay direct debits as I was with Bankia who charged too much fees.
