Breaking:

Hotels opening up again earliest 11/05 during Phase 1, depending on the Province.

Same for Restaurant terraces.

If all goes well, restrictions will be lifted by end of June 2020 after Phase 3 has no adverse effect on the virus count.

Breaking: (Madrid - 28 ABR 2020 - 17:43 CEST)

There is no concrete date in the plan for the reopening of beaches or hotels, but there are details of the phases that will have to be evaluated in each province according to the situation of the pandemic.

Not really. If phase three successful they move to phase four,  called "new-normal", which lowers restrictions but still has strict rules in place... 50% capacity, limits on gatherings, social distancing etc.

This remains until everyone is vaccinated, so likely middle of next year.

On the subject of flights, I have had a couple of Ryanair flights from Alicante back to the UK cancelled.  The most recent being my flight from Alicante to Edinburgh on May 6th. Before it was cancelled they had offered me the chance to change this, but asking that I do not book it anytime in...

... May. We shall wait and see.

Hito everyone, I live in UK and was due fly to alicante on May 4th.this was cancelled and changed to 2nd of June by ryanair. I challenged them about the fact they won't fly until 17th of June. They said that was rubbish and I could fly 2nd June so long as alicante let's them land there, so now I wait? 🤔

No option other than to sit it out really. Based on information so far, they won’t be allowing foreigners in at that point.

If it is going to be the end of June before they allow anyone to travel from one Spanish province to another then there is no way flights are going to bring in foreigners until much later than that.

Hi everyone my husband is stuck in London since Feb because of work Just missed out coming back with me. I rang BA and he has a flight booked for 24th may they said Alicante only letting them fly in from 3pm -9pm. I have been checking the airport arrivals and they are mainly 3 a day coming in most from barcelona and a few from Germany. Nothing from UK so we will just have to be patient and watch this space.
