Does anyone have an account with Starling Bank to pay their direct debits here in Spain? If so, now that the UK is no longer a member of the EU, do you pay any charges from the receiving bank on each direct debit transaction. Thank you.

Yes i used starling for about 2 years for my direct debit without any problem and no charges
takes a bit of setting up but once done no problems
I also have a wise account which as a eu iban number in case any direct debits dont let you use a GB iban number but only used it once
when my water company would not except by Starling GB code but sorted it out and now all my money comes out of Starling.I also put my spending money in Starling and use my card to withdraw at cash machines 300 per day limit
You get a great euros rate and cost around a euro to use card to withdraw euros
