Normally bathroom sanitary fittings are connected with a p-trap with a water seal to stop smells coming back up the pipes. I know our bathroom fittings at our property in Los Dolses have these types of fittings.

I suggest going along to Leroy Merlin in the La Zenia centre, they have a big selection of plumbing fittings plus they have some very helpful staff, who are multilingual, for advice if needed.

Aitch.

Hi

You don't actually say what your problem is. If you're talking about a holiday home, then the smell problem will most likely come about because the water in your traps has evaporated. Solution? Run some water for a few seconds.

When we bought this house, I was a bit concerned about the smell, it had been unoccupied for a while, and it was July!

BTW, the ferret shop in LA Florida is just fab - far better than Leroy Merlin for this sort of stuff.

Cheers
