Hi we have just retired to Playa Flamenca from Somerset. UK. we have 2 dogs, both Sprockers ( Springer, cocker cross).

We have been looking for places to let them run but seem to be was quite difficult to find.any suggestions.

Also we would like to know if there are any  clubs etc that we could join.

You can run your gorgeous dogs on the beach from October to the end of March.

Always carry their passports and your own, poo bags and recently they ask you to carry a spray to spray on when dogs pee.

I don't know your side, but our side here has a nature park called La Mata

Welcome to Spain

Hi Ian and Gill,

I don't know whether it's closed at the moment because of Covid-19 restrictions, but there's a great woof agility course not too far from you at Los Balcones.  It's free, fully enclosed and has a fair bit of kit for your Sprockers to have fun running around.  There's a long park, which runs up the hill between Avenida de la Asuncion and Avenida Torrevieja.  It's in a bit of a dip and the dog park is about two-thirds of the way up.

Have fun!

Kind regards,

Kim

You could join Torreviega U3A which has a wide variety of activities/interest groups around the area.  Some are up and running I think.
