Hello Costa Blanca,

We will be visiting CB for 6 nights in October to take a look around a few different areas before deciding where best to purchase our holiday/retirement home. We are in our early to mid 50's so are in no real hurry to buy just yet, and we are thinking of visiting maybe up to four times in the next 12 months to see how everywhere looks at different times of the year.

We aren't actually interested in looking at properties in the first year just the area although we would almost certainly be looking for a place on an urbanisation when it comes to it. With this in mind we are thinking of staying on a different urb each time we visit so we can get a feel for the place.

The places we are thinking of visiting are :

LA MARINA...TORREVIEJA....PUNTA PRIMA...PLAYA FLAMENCA...LA ZENIA...CABO ROIG...CAMPOAMOR.

Possibly staying for 3 nights in one and 3 nights in another and travelling to the others by bus/taxi.

Any advice or tips would be most welcome, we aren't going to ask what you think of each place as everyone has different opinions but any suggestions of other places to look at would be appreciated.

We would ideally prefer somewhere fairly flat (for later years) and with good transport links with a bit going on all year round, do any of the places we have mentioned fit this category?

How would we go about renting a place on an urb ? and would we be able to rent just for 3 nights or would it be easier to rent one place for the 6 nights?

Regards,

John & Sarah

We have been doing the same for the last 4years staying in different areas and trying different properties.

La marina urb is  very steep.

We prefer playa flamenca area as it is easy to walk to lots of places.

It would be cheaper to rent for 6 nights as lots of places charge for cleans.

Try tripadvisor click on the holiday rentals. Holidaylettings. Propertyrentals.com.

Good luck

Cheryl and Gary
