Just tried the mixed paella at Good Rice in the Boulevard and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. Can anyone recommend a decent Spanish restaurant in Playa Flamthat offers authentic traditional paella?

The Arroceria El Sarmiento on the N332 between Playa Flamenca does various paella and is a lovely setting. We had one in September and it was lovely. http://arroceriaelsarmiento.com/index.php/es/

Little bit of a journey, but we have had some really good Paellas at Goyos restaurant (calle Blanca, 4) in Quesada. A bonus is they are very reasonably priced and have lovely staff and owners.

Bar Bulacan in torrevieja does superb paella, takes at least 45 minutes but well worth the wait. Best arroz a Banda I have eaten is at el Pescador in Torrevieja.

Hi all just to clarify. My Spanish partner regularly makes paella. cooked over hot coals or a paella ring (gas) mostly outside lunch!  Let´s not confuse a restaurant paella to a good home-cooked one.

Sorry Can´t invite you all round today, too far inland and she´s cooking in the local restaurant.

Good luck with your searches & enjoy the vast paella & rice variations.
