Ah but the OP is allowed to criticise remainers in his original post, whereas remainers cannot make comment on those voting to leave.

Everyone as an opinion on the subject. People choosing to leave the UK to live in another country......I hope your decision to leave the UK WAS the right one for you. I believe my vote to leave the EU was the right one for me and for 17.5 million others in the UK. Why not let us get on with it in the same way you get on with your life away from the UK

I wish that the UK government would hurry up and get on with it, as it is all the uncertainty that is causing problems. There was twelve months wasted because there was no plan, Cameron did a runner and we had a pointless general election, and then to try and blame those wishing to remain for their own failings is beyond me.

I very much agree with you, the uncertainty is unfair and doesn't help people whether they agree with Brexit or not. I sincerely hope all the brits living in other EU countries are protected and services in those countries are still available to them with the same conditions enjoyed now...or better.

Just remember ...

UK exports in 2016: ($bn)

India 4.5
Australia 5.4
Japan 6.6
Canada 6.3
China 18.3
US 62.3
EU 203.2

So .... that EU relationship is pretty important then. Pity about those post-Brexit EU tariffs (now confirmed in Commons Select Committee) that will make British goods and services uneconomic. New trade deals with the USA, NZ, Japan etc (if they happen) won't cut it.And here is a nice little video that shows how so many of EU policies that the Brexiteers criticise as "overbearing" were initiated by successive (Labour and Conservative) British governments, and were within the party manifestos that all we Brits voted for. They aren't German at all.

Oh yes, and which economic powerhouse funded  those nice new roads we have here in Spain ?

We will still be trading with the EU but instead of Britain paying for the privlage of having a massive defecit with them... they will be paying to access our market through tariffs.

EU exports are a mere 12% of British economy

British businesses now earn £222.4billion by selling goods and services to EU countries – equivalent to 12.1 per cent of total economic output.

But the amount sold to nations outside the bloc is higher – at £287.9billion, or 15.7 per cent of the economy.

When the UK exits in 2019 there will be immediate free trade agreements with th USA and Commonwealth, later with the booming nations across the world.

There is very little benefit that the EU is closer to us, Road transport is expensive whist shipping costs are cheap
