If I were you, I'd mind Murcia-Corvera a/p whenever possible.

Murcia Corvera airport is fine as long as you can be picked up or hire a car, it is only if you are relying on public transport that it is a no go and it is further away than San Javier to any of the resorts so taxis are expensive as well.

Thank you for your reply, however, what I’m after is someone local? providing the service who can also provide child car seats for 7 and 5 year olds - not a taxi as I know how expensive that will be!

Hi, my problem is that I only have a Renault Clio which does accommodate 3 adult and 2 children in their car seats!

Only licensed taxi and transfer companies can legally provide this service. If a resident is offering airport transfers they are doing this illegally and your family will be in an uninsured vehicle as all insurance (exept for licenced persons) excludes use for hire and reward. Both the police and licenced businesses are looking out for this type of thing and you could both be fined if caught.
It is not worth the risk.
