when you first arrive everyone is a expert hence coming to those who actually live there what would you say the pro and cons of sax are?
Been in Sax nearly 20 years and adore it, clean , tidy, friendly and fast easy routes to everywhere. Sinkholes " rubbish" lol as for selling, house are now moving fast up this way, cost of living better than the coast. Alicante 30 mins by car, also tarin runs direct to Alicante city 40 minutes, bus direct every hour during the day, major hospital 10 minutes away. For us there are no minuses what so ever, bought two children up here and now have a seven year old.

We moved to Spain from the UK in October last year. We rented in Villena, for a few months before we bought our forever home In Sax in the Campo. We now wouldn’t live anywhere else. It’s a fabulous place. You can integrate with the Spanish and have ex pat friends too, who are really helpful. It’s a friendly place with a great atmosphere in the town. There are plenty of supermarkets, shops, Restaurants, bars etc. And a great little market on Mondays. The main hospital is 10-15 mins away in Elda. There’s also a Cinema in Elda that shows the latest films in English a couple of days a week.
Alicante airport and the coast are only 30-35 mins away.
oh and an Iceland shop in Alicante and Benidorm (we haven’t been there but know people who have lol).
There are lots of places to visit around Sax. Good luck and hope you find your forever home here.
