She’s not in your house! And as has been said, there could be a myriad reasons for this - ie. currently in our area there is a summer cold and cough going around. My husband had it for three days and has a small intermittent cough left over, I have currently got it and am surviving on hot lemon...

... and honey. My Dutch friend who has just returned to Holland has messaged to say she has it........

But what relevance, pray, does the poor woman’s weight have? Again there may be many reasons for this.

Just wondering if You or your husband or Dutch friend did a test for Covid.

A few people I know recently had this summer cold and tested Positive

If you read a few posts further on, you will see that we had it, as yes, immediately my Dutch friend advised me, we took the relevant test. Last Tuesday FYI. We had virtually no symptoms beyond a sniffle, did not feel remotely unwell, and are negative this morning. And my husband still has the summer cold.

Get a CPAP machine, best investment I ever made

Looking at getting one of these as I’m on waiting list for Sleep Apnoea assessment I’d be interested to know which one you’d recommend?

Sleep Apnea also, and very bad to boot…

Highly recommend the Phillips Dreamstation with the addition of the humidifier, changed my life completely now…

What is a CPAP machine?  I’ve never heard of it.  Sleep apnea is nothing to do with snoring. It’s an ENT condition.  Sleep apnea is a respiratory condition. That’s what the consultant told us and he referred him for that problem.

Loud snoring is a primary symptom of sleep apnea. CPAP machine is standard treatment.

Speaking as a person with obstructive sleep apnoea. CPAP machine is a constant positive air pressure machine. Sleep apnoea is a massive cause of snoring. When you fall asleep your airways relax, causing an obstruction in the airway thus causing snoring. Maybe read up on the condition before dismissing the facts.
