Hi Seanie

Wow, all doom and gloom at yours. I think everyone is aware of what’s happening and the risks. By now people know what a metre is, and they also are fully aware of what’s happening. I also don’t think they need you to tell them that the virus is here to stay, at least for now.

It’s really not needed for you or anyone else to suggest that people are confused or that they don’t know what’s happening. These are intelligent people, treat them as such 🤪🥂

its not doom  and gloom dear its fact, there is one side of society sticking there fingers up with im all right jack,we dont give a monkies and the other, well just been old fashioned and careful,i suppose you are happy in your bubble, seanie

Hi there

I’m not your “dear”. Who’s facts are they exactly?

Rather than “one side of society sticking their fingers up”, people are making educated decisions. That their choices might not be yours, does not mean that they are wrong and you are right. It just means that they have made different choices. I suggest you respect that and not be so judgemental. 🤪🥂

look, you are missing the logic and reasoning of my message, would anyone go anywhere on holiday to wear a mask all the time and face the chance of huge fines, also having the discomfort factor thrown in as well, let me  tell you another factor to consider as the whole of ireland are thinking of a full lockdown, there is an almighty crash coming down the line at a hundred miles per hour, people are falling over themselves buying houses at all prices and building extensions every where in the uk there is a housing boom, you can make up your own mind about that but what is worrying is the big big factor, that the bottom is falling out of the spanish housing market like the rain that fell  one day this month in the uk, its my honest opinion,im not a professor or a scientist, seanie

Done it!  Ryanair from LBA 30 October.  Nice day time flight means I can get there before the cockroaches wake up😡.

Last two trips has seen a small infestation which is very annoying.  Somebody recommended a good spray (from Mercadona was it?).  I can pop down there on my bike and get it and then give all the under furniture places a good blast....

...

On the other hand of course there may not be any this time.  Hate them with a vengeance ☠️☠️

You'll prob find some dead ones, but we have seen the last of them till next year now,so don't worry. I almost left Spain because of the cockroaches? Apologies about butting in in someone else's topic. Over and out.

Dead ones I can cope with but the scurrying about ones I can’t stand. The first year saw none but a few this year on my two visits.  Mostly downstairs but a couple upstairs as well.  I can’t bear the thought of waking up to find one on my pillow 😡
