I am being asked by my UK bank for my TIN in Spain,
Any idea how I get one, we have been in Spain for 11 months in rented accommodation we have got our residency in January 2018. We do not work in Spain, we live off savings and money that we can take from our pension pot we are under uk retirement, do government pension
Grateful for any information

It is your Tax identification number - NIF/NIE?
I had to give my UK TIN to my Spanish bank. Turns out they just wanted my National Insurance number.

Yes, your TIN (tax identification number) is your Spanish NIE number.

It is my uk bank that wants the TIN number so that they can share information with the Spanish authorities.
