Well, we moved to Altea from the UK last week. I am Dutch and my wife is German. We have a car with a UK licence plate and I have a UK license. Question is, how do I change my licence (my wife has German one!) and how do I get Spanish plates for our car? Just getting the NIE number for me was liking requesting an audition with the Pope! so I wonder what this will be like! Help! Thanks

Hi, we have a villa in Altea hills and live in the uk, can ayone recomend a company that can hold keys and attend to the propertie should the allarm go off. I have an alarm company but unfortunatley we are too far away for them to attend.

I'm not a professional breeder and my girl Lola has had puppies Under the new law in March in Spain I cannot sell them but they are available now with two vaccinations and dewormed twice I live in Altea and you can view them any time

Hi there,

I realised that 165 euros had been taken twice from my Spanish bank account and queried this at the urbanisation’s admin office. I was informed that this was on top of the quarterly urbanisation fees and were for repairs to a garage which I don’t use and a tennis court I don’t use either. I hadn’t been informed of this before monies were taken. Two more payments are apparently due.

Has anyone else come across this? Is it legal? 

Any advice appreciated.

Can anyone advice us on the procedure.

We have been living in Spain for 5 years and we have had a  temporary TIE residency (issued under the withdrawal agreement) and now need to exchange this for a permanent TIE residency card. We are not sure what the procedure are. We have heard that it maybe possible to do this online, however we can't find the links. We have asked the British consulate, however we have had no reply and the police web site only seems to deal with applications for initial applications for residency.
