Wanted to buy or rent an 1-2 bedroomed apartment/townhouse in close proximity of amenities or on a bus route.  

We are not having a lot of luck with agents, so trying a forum. 

We should be arriving in Spain early March but can come earlier if required.

We are a UK couple in our 70's hoping to long term rent a new or nearly new property, we would be coming over to Spain on 90/180 day basis but would hopefully rent for years permantly. 

Which area is the best to concentrate on, we don't want to get a car so would like amenities within easy proximity, is there a local bus service.

Any information would be grateful appreciated.

I need some advice, please.

A British property owner has passed away in the UK. What documentation is needed, apart from an apostille of the death certificate, to show SUMA, the bank and a solicitor to make name changes on the Escritura? (Water and Electricity are in another person's name and aren't affected. The bank account is a joint one, so only the deceased's name will be removed.)

Apart from the solicitor's input for the Escritura, can all these other areas be dealt with by me?

Also will they keep the originals or will they want certified copies for their records?
