Hi All,

On 30th Sept we leave the UK and are driving to La Marina via Plymouth to Santander ferry, we should arrive there around 9pm on 1st Oct. If anyone needs any small (legal) items (no live stock) bringing over with us we would be happy to help if we can fit it into our large car. We are based In Weston-Super-Mare and you would need to arrange the items to come to us for transportation to you. They will be available for collection from us at our home on C/Placido Domingo on the Urb. on 2nd Oct. Collection anytime as I need to be at home for our fibre/broadband installation.

No charge, just want to be friendly to our new neighbours. Will of course pass over address/mobile contact details if you would like our assistance.

Hi All, Looking for a little advice on the bottled gas. It is just over a week until we move to La Marina, we are very excited. We actually came over and stayed in our new property for 1 night (mainly to pick up the keys from the agents). The gas In the property is served, as I am sure all are in the urb. by bottled gas. We have 1 bottle connected to the combo boiler and 1 bottle connected to the cooker hob. We also have a spare bottle. My question is where is the best place to get replacement gas bottles ? I also assume you have to take an empty with you to swap, much like you do In the UK. From recollection the gas bottle was labelled CEPSA, not sure if that will make a difference in the response... ie if other types are available too. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi I lived in Spain  from 2012 until 2016 owned a property for two years sold it and was stopped 3% tax approximately €5000 which our lawyer in Hondon de los frailes said we would get back after rentingfor the last two years we returned to the UK leaving money in Sabadell bank for holidays only to find out the tax office took  €4035 out of my bank for an embargo tax I contacted the lawyer in Hondon de los frailes they asked for letters from the tax office which I sent to them they have completely ignored all correspondence I have offered to pay for their services just to explain to me why I've never had a refund on the sale of my house and why I paid embargo tax.
