steviehow Posted by steviehow in Driving, hiring, buying and owning a car in Las Filipinas on Sun May 7, 2023 7:36pm

Hi everybody

Could someone give me a real and accurate cost of how much it would cost for me to change my car over to a Spanish plate. I have a Honda crv 2.2 diesel 06 plate and I'm just waying up the pros and cons of bringing it over and hiring a car in spain when I'm here. I intend to be over for 5 months a year in the near future. We are in the villamartin are and I have had vast difference in prices off people. Anybody done it recently.

Sabadell Charges - 31 replies

Kentsoc Posted by Kentsoc in Banking and finances in Las Filipinas on Thu Feb 23, 2023 11:50am

We are Residents, held an Expansion Account with Sabadell for many years and as we paid in State Pensions over 700€ pm we had no charges.

Sabadell no longer offer the Expansion Account and in order to retain free banking customers have to have certain Sabadell products. We don’t want or need any of them.

I’m aware I can pay all my direct debits using my Wise or Revolut Accounts but does anyone know if there is a way to use an ATM without incurring charges?

I need my electrical sockets changed from single sockets to double sockets. Around 6 in total in kitchen and living room. Needs to be in the next seven days. Maybe more work later

We planted this climber about 7 years ago. We’ve had the lovely white flowers throughout and this year also this fruit. Does anyone know what the climber is called and surely the fruit isn’t edible?

Solar Pool Pump - 4 replies

Kentsoc Posted by Kentsoc in General property discussion in Las Filipinas on Tue Mar 29, 2022 7:04pm

We are a very small Community with a pool 10mx4m. Electricity costs are currently approx €4000pa. Has anyone installed a solar pump on a similar size pool? Would one be a good investment? What were the initial costs? Presumably if we had one we’d still need to rely on electricity during the summer nights and winter months.
Advice would be welcomed
