I have a UK passport and am permanent resident of Spain. I am visiting America am flying from Madrid so my passport is valid. On my way home I will come from America to Heathrow then on to Alicante the same day. Travelling from Heathrow to Spain how much time do I need on my passport as I only have 4 months left on it. Hello all.

my names rick and me and my family are looking for a home in playa flamenca. 

We had a little 4 day holiday there last week to see if it was for us and it definitely is. We have a 12 year old daughter that will be wanting to make friends out there and an 18 year old son that will be wanting to get drunk out there. So it’s a bit of everything we are looking for.

Any advice on making friends and drinking partners would be appreciated. Hope you’re all well and we will see you very soon. 👍👍

We de-registered our car on 15/3/24 & have all the necessary documentation. I've been trying to obtain a partial car tax refund from the SUMA office but in order to send this documentation electronically to them they need a digital I.D which I haven't got (we live in the UK) & I have asked them twice how to obtain this digital I.D but all they do is send the same link over & over again. I also asked if we could leave it until next month when we come to Spain & visit the office & would we need an appointment but they've not replied to this question. Does anyone know how to obtain this digital I.D. Thanks in advance.

I set about filing my tax return this morning, primarily because I wanted to see if DD would be accepted from my new Imagin account.

Much to my surprise, it appears that Wise and all other EU IBANs are now accepted! 

But I don't actually need to pay anything so I can't be sure without exaggerating my income - lol!

Has anybody else tried it yet?

I am living in Ireland,but, own a property in Playa Flamenca, Spain. I recently received an email saying that ,as no one in our Community put themselves forward for President, a name was chosen at random. The person who was chosen has refused the role. It seems that under Spanish Law, (Horizontal Property Law 13.2) the role is mandatory. It seems that in such a case the matter can be referred to a Spanish Judge. I was just wondering, if any of you know, - what penalty can a Judge impose on a person who is not residing in the country and also is this not a type of coercion that a person must take a role???
