You cannot get cover if you have any respiratory conditions or heart problems, strokes or diabetes.
So, if you have a clean bill of health and are reasonably young, you can get cover and this is because even if you do get Covid, you are very unlikely to need hospital treatment or need to be repatriated.

...re insured should have a good long read of the terms and conditions, especially the exclusions, your responsibilities and the declaration that you sign.
For those who pay for a bank account with travel insurance included, chances are you took that out years ago and have since collected a range of ailments and conditions that you have not advised the insurer about which, in many cases, could lead to the medical cover being invalid.

...a big problem is cover provided via a bank account where people have gone years thinking they are fully covered but unless they tell the insurer of all medical conditions diagnosed or treated after the insurance was first taken out they could be on a very sticky wicket.
I was mainly concerned that people were travelling without cover which could lead to big problems should something go wrong.

Included in this is the statement "Travel insurance will only cover you for circumstances that you were not aware of when you booked the trip or were due to travel."
