Completely irrelevant, two in a car if they live together is no greater risk than being cooped up in a small apartment together. Everyone in Spain carries ID so the police can easily ascertain who is husband and wife etc. I suspect two police officers in a car would not be cohabiting so the risk ...

...is significantly higher.

This has been covered at length. One in a car ( two with exceptions ie essential workers). Two authorised ie: police etc included. (cohabiting or not).

Two persons in a car (cohabiting or not) do not in normal situations, fit the definition of exceptions or essential. Therefore less authorities to verify, stop & check etc. ie relevant.

If you choose to to post what “many will baulk at” then you must surely expect to be “downed” by those who might not agree with you. You are also “amazed that encouraging political agenda” is “tolerated by admin”. Perhaps these are the very people that “go off at a tangent on politics and other issues that have little or no place on this forum”.  “My apologies, I assumed this forum was related to Spain and such like, here to offer advice and help rather than push political agenda, my mistake”

I don’t comment politically, I do however read with great interest all the comments by others. I find them thought provoking. I do however like a consistent approach. Never met anyone who could run with both the hares and the hounds

The italics are all your own🤪🥂

Hi, just "butting in". I hope the forum is open to all, be it political, religious, doggy pictures, funny tales or discussing wine or food (whatever). Not one person should "come" on here & prevent other´s opinion, be they agnostic, left or right, vegan or t-total. My only exception is unfriendly, personal abusive & profanities or occasional "trolls". I hope we can have (even heated) discussions without that. Most of us are adults, & we don´t have to read the post or be involved in them.

With kind regards,

V

Hi Villas. You’re absolutely right. As Kimmy says, scroll on by if it’s not to your taste. I think I read some of what is posted on the forum in this way. Most of my few (by comparison) posts are reasonably lighthearted. I do however feel that criticising the forum for allowing certain threads i.e. the political agenda, while actively engaging in the political agenda, is contrary and worthy of comment, if only my comment🤪🥂

Anyone with half a brain knows that the we are all  going to be in a devastating state economically, nationally and globally, this is an unprecedented situation.

No-one is sitting at home in some cases with  with no wages , no job and in some areas no choice of food, unable to see their families and lonely thinking well never mind everything will be great 'after'. We are terrified of the future . We bloody know.

You miss the point.  Stay well.

Hi, I understand how you feel (or not) regarding politics, be it the larger issues ie Brexit or the ongoing virus. Those in governments are involved, much like local town halls or our government legislation in Spain. It does effect us, & believe we  often have opinions to voice. Not all we always agree or not.

Regards.

The content of your comments are not why I was responding. I fully support the right of individuals to express their opinions on any subject, here or elsewhere. If I don’t like what they say, I can scroll on, or respond. What I have found contrary is that in multiple posts you are quite clearly critical of the forum for allowing a political agenda but continue to be, judging by some of the responses, quite provocative, as in your last post - fragile and “genteel” readers who would find the truths less palatable - these are your truths and may not be shared by everyone. That’s the truth, regardless of subject matter
