Just Moved to Albatera Last Week
I've been here in the Alicante region for around 18 months now and feel I am now starting to find my feet. It helps that my partner is Spanish (he's an estate agent in Crevillente so a useful man to know!). I used to work in banking (don't hate me!) but happily gave it all up to get away from the cold and rain of Edinburgh and see some sunshine.
I started out running yoga weekends but found it quite tough having people at the house all the time and after 6 months I gave that up to try something new. I am now a personal travel consultant with an Explorer Travel franchise here in Spain and loving it. I've travelled a lot for both business and pleasure and I love discovering new places, meeting new people and trying new things. Especially food and wine! :-)
I do most of my business online and over the phone so I spend way too much time at the computer. It would be great to get out a bit more and meet people who are doing something similar, ie running their own business in a foreign country! A bit of inspiration and support is always welcome!
