...travelled by train across Europe while Schengen has been in operation. There's no way that those of us with TIEs allowing us to live in Spain will be denied entry into other EU countries once our 90 days are used up where we live.

My question is when I leave Spain my passport will be stamped on exit and again when I return, so what happens when I want to return to the UK in say 4 or 5 months from my return to Spain my passport stamps will show me as overstaying when in fact I have residency in Spain....
