Well I voted for Brexit,  well I've had 20% payrise due to lack off staff , now is that due to Brexit or pandemic,  ive seen no benefits yet ! And I was passionate about leaving,  think since the Russian war , I've realized perhaps we are better in than out . I was also a right win...

...g tory voter,  WAS!

The Russian war makes no difference to being in or out. Britain is still in NATO.

As a family we sat together in 2016,4x grandparents all over 80,10x sons, daughters in laws etc and 6x grandchildren old enough to vote.It was lively and passionate but the older people all voted to leave and their overwhelmingly main reason was they don’t like foreigners!!! Took some coaxing ou...

...t but that was it.Everyone else was overwhelmingly in favour of staying in the EU with career opportunities and all the other benefits of membership. What continues to annoy me is the decision was made for such a stupid reason and affecting young people’s future. One of the four has since died and has not experienced the shambles that the UK is becoming due to brexit. So I will continue to point out at any opportunity the folly of believing in brexit as a force for positive change.

Si, positive change for Britain. What is needed is less b*tching/moaning about it and start putting that into making britain great again.

(I) always look on the bright side......Amazingly no one seems to be happy with Brexit - so who voted for it, and when will they ever learn?

I've owned property in Spain for nearly 20 years , I have no intention of living there , ever .. I'm absolutely ok with Brexit ( as are millions of others, I don't need to bleat about it), don't see what you find so amazing , you must only mix with people that wanted to stay (expats that live there I guess) As has already been said , Brexit is done , get over it and live your life .

Good on You AJ.  with all those rules, bureaucracy, taxes and wow...massive fines for nothing....maybe I'll join you.

Lets face-it, if Spain did not have such super weather... Brits would not be here.... such a backward country. If I had known then... what I know now, I would never have bought a property in Spain....

...

Where's this super weather then? seems we can't get more than a few days of reasonable weather before we get yet more rain. When we purchased our property on Orihuela Costa 7 years ago it was a lovely place to live now it's like a slum. No waste collection, roads so full of potholes it's getting dangerous to drive on them, roads that flood every time it rains due to inadequate drainage systems, sewage in the roads. What are our council doing about it? If the mayor is not embezzling the money for himself he spends the money on Orihuela City. We on the Costa provide through our taxes 50% of the councils income yet we are lucky if we get 10% spent on the area.

Not going to happen and the Great you refer to is the islands that make up the land mass including the island of Ireland. The Empire is long gone and guess what?It did nothing to improve the lives of ordinary people.

What has Ireland got to do with Britain We are ardent Europeans and reiish being so

Britain made their bed and have to lie in it though I do feel for the younger generation who will not benefit from the opportunities Europe can afford them

I voted for it and I'm happy with it. But the broken record keeps on turning which needs switching off

Really! There are plenty where I live.

And a few that have gone back into the cupboard so to speak.

I'm not sure what you mean but I don't have a cupboard to get into and I would vote for Brexit again.

Not Spain’s problem or fault. As I always say thank anyone you know that voted for brexit.Enjoy your time where ever you end up and no doubt the new buyer will enjoy the property.Something else to thank brexiters for is as a 3rd country national you will be liable for higher taxes when you sell....

...It really is the gift that keeps giving.

Stop your whining, Jesus what miserable lives you must live going on and on about something that's in the History books. Look up democracy and majority.
