And the EU decide on which regulations they will abide by so it is possible the timescale for UK owners may increase .I hope so as it is unfair on them .Personally I think the EU are a shower and the UK government also . And yes I am one of the enemy,I live in Spain and voted to leave the EU but ...

...I did it for my children and grandchildren that they could have a democratic choice of whom is in charge and that the UK could deal with its own affairs .I realised it would mean hardships for people who live over here and I have seen many who were living under the radar complaining that they have to have a Spanish driving licence and become residents etc ,Oh the horror of it all !, well tough get on with it ,so what if you have to pay more tax . Thats the way it goes and the way the EU has treated the UK says it all and reinforces my decision . Im now digging in to stand by for the flack but I dont care.

Well said, if your living here legally you have no complaint it doesn't affect your freedom of movement.

I do feel for property owners, and the 90 day rule but that's life, the majority voted.

It does affect Freedom of Movement - even for those of us who have pre-Brexit residency with the protection of the Withdrawal Agreement, it is only Spain where we are allowed to stay more than 90 days.  The "90 days in a rolling 180 days" rule still applies to us when visiting other Schengen countries.

then you all should really consider becoming the 51st state.

Ditch the monarchy once the queen stops being queen.

The Jacksonville Jags will become the London ??? (hedgehogs) (red coats)

The future sounds bright...

51st state that really would be the end of things.About the only thing we have in common with America and Americans is we almost speak the same language!Quite happy to see end of monarchy though.

Don't forget entry Rules into England also applys to EU CITIZENS . Your voting on Brexit also created the Mess Northern Ireland is in.  Think before you Vote in Future.

Hopefully it "reunites" the green island a little bit faster..

So that would be a positive.

Si, positive change for Britain. What is needed is less b*tching/moaning about it and start putting that into making britain great again.

This kind of rhetoric smacks of MAGA and that was just an attempt at a right-wing coup that did not end well.

Really?

Quite an eye opening comment from someone who obviously never lived here, did business here, reared a family here or experienced what life is like here…… and that’s coming from someone who voted remain, but will abide by the outcome of a DEMOCRATIC VOTE, The majority of Northern Ireland would never want it united, period, wether republican or loyalist, catholic or Protestant. Their standard of living is streets ahead of ROI, a functioning health service and public health free at point of use not to mention the infrastructure sadly deficient in the ROI.

This seems to be something that is lost in the remoaners argument that weakens their case at every turn, Labour Party decimated at 3 ballot box votes with conservatives in seats that labour held for over 100 years, Liberal party (remember them?) wiped off the planet….. all on one mandate.. BREXIT. The tiresome whinging and constant whining of the defeated remain camp is really just white noise now that just annoys everyone and does nothing to advance the situation as it now stands. Get on with it, or as an Irish saying states…. “S**t or get off the pot”

I run successful businesses on both sides of the Irish border, also in the UK …. brexit hasn’t a snowballs chance in hell of stopping anything, in fact there is as many benefits and openings to do business now than there ever was, not alone the superb currency rates that the UK are experiencing as a stable currency that international funds are flowing into, a currency their country has control over unlike Dublins hands tied to whims of the Euro.

On balance, I’d have preferred that the UK had remained in the EU, but I will play the hand I have been dealt & wont run back to the dealer to dish me up another hand of cards just because I didn’t get the ones I wanted, what I loose on this deal I’ll make up on the next, every hands a winner & every hands a looser…. play them how you will.

Unfortunately  Neither Boris or The English Parliament see the issues as Inportment.  All the Lessons and Mistakes are not taken into account.  Cannot admit 900 years as happened. This issue is as important as what other Buinness in in English Parliament

Thank you for your correction, but me personally I have no intention of spending more than 90 days in any other European country so as far as I'm concerned I personally have freedom of movement.

But isn't it the same for other European member countries that they should apply for residency after 3 months if this is the case then what has Brexit got to do with it.

The only mess in Northern Ireland is the one created by the EU.
