37% of the electorate is not democracy nor is when there was so much lying and manipulation by the likes of Cambridge Analytics et Al.

There is a lot to read here but the first entry from Sept 2016 and the latest of April 15th. are good places start.

Democracy: In the 2016 Brexit referendum, there were 700,000 British citizens who were not entitled to vote. I was one.

Well I voted for Brexit,  well I've had 20% payrise due to lack off staff , now is that due to Brexit or pandemic,  ive seen no benefits yet ! And I was passionate about leaving,  think since the Russian war , I've realized perhaps we are better in than out . I was also a right win...

...g tory voter,  WAS!

Thank you Bencr85, for being the first Leave voter I've heard of who's shown honesty by saying you have yet to see any benefits of Brexit.

I also reconsidered my support of the Tories, although I came to that with Cameron.  The current lot are are even worse and we're not alone in thinking that - a YouGov poll, presented on Sky News this morning, reported the proportion of UK citizens who think the current government are doing a bad job as:

-  Immigration:  72%

-  Taxation:   70%

-  The NHS:  68%

So much for Brexit "taking back control of our borders", the "levelling up" agenda and the lie on the side of a big red bus.

Thank you also for not resorting to the childish name-calling against those who voted Remain, so often used by other Leave voters.  It's refreshing for a Remainer to have a sensible conversation with a Brexiteer 👍

Kind regards,

Kim

Broken record, you really are boring but you won’t be boring me much longer as conversation with you is now ended.

Instead of being rude all the time, why don't you follow Bencr85's refreshing example: if Brexit is "over and done with", why not tell us what benefit(s) you have achieved from voting to leave the EU?

Kind regards,

Kim

They don't like it up um!

go on then @Gemily1, persuade us that the debate is over and we were wrong by providing a list of all of the benefits. I don't mean nebulous concepts like 'we got our sovereignty back' (which we had anyway as was ably demonstrated by individual EU nations closing their border during Covid), but real tangible benefits that could not have been attained as part of the EU. All I can see so far are downsides as predicted by 'project fear'!

The Government have even had to create a ministerial post to try and find some benefits and he is yet to come up with anything!

I also want to know why many people who can least afford it are suffering a NI hike to pay for the NHS when it should be rolling in it with the extra 350 million a week as promised by the Brexit bus.

Hopefully if the current government of Brexit Jihadists who have morphed into UKIP or the English Nationalist party can start to be held to account we might see some sense prevail and Brexit, whatever you think of it, can be made less painful through building a few bridges.

Excuse me, being bored by the constant moaning of you remoaners and telling you I’m bored is not rude it’s a fact, I suppose you would be happy with Bencr85 as he’s now turned into a remainer at least he hasn’t moaned.

And I suppose you believe the msm polls right?

It’s very funny that, as I’ve had nothing up me Cpl Jones, It would appear that you moaners don’t like it up you when it comes to Brexit. I don’t constantly moan like you remoaners and I have no intention of having a conversation with one sided views.

It amazes me that you only have a glass half empty and only look at the down side of Brexit purely for selfish reasons, never mind. Keep safe.

So no tangible benefits then.

Please let me know of all those things in the full half of the glass.

You are continually evading the question. This is typical of most Brexiteers who know they have been caught out by the lies but most of them do not have the decency to admit it and prefer to avoid engagement beyond just accusing anyone keen to learn the benefits of brexit as a moaner!

Also the votes sent by those of us working abroad at that time (only for a few years) were mysteriously ' lost'.??!!
