... brexit regulations. So any tips and help are very welcome, and naturally if someone can find me a flat to stay while I search for a property I will be most grateful. Have no idea how long it takes to find the property so must rent per week not month. After buying or making a reservation shall fly back to Devon and return with my husband in October. Have tons of questions about area and safety and healcare so if you want to share please get in touch. Thanks.

The simplest way to find a regulated and licensed apartment for a week at a time would be on a regulated and reputable site like Booking.com or Vrbo. 

Finding a property in need of renovation and with a nice view is a tricky set of criteria and could be difficult. I do know a couple of estate agents I could recommend but first it would be helpful to have a general guide as to what your budget is?
