Hello

I started the Costa Blanca Expats, centred on Crevillent, a couple of months ago to address this problem.  If you want to join is there is no problem.  No fees, no rules, no committee, just a sense of humour.  Just PM me your email and we will contact you re the next meeting.

Kind regards

Richard

Hi Natasha

It may be a bit far for you to come, and we would be glad to see you, but why not start your own friendship group?  It costs nothing but a small amount of time and this site gives you plenty of publicity.  I had 30 replies the first time we floated the idea!

Let me know what you want to do and I will give any help that I can.

Kind regards

Richard

Hi Natasha

First, decide what you want out of a group; find a venue that can accommodate about 30 or 40 people for lunch: determine the frequency of meetings: settle on a name for the group: don´t ask for money or set any rules - it puts people off..  Now you are GO!

Ask the local radio station and other organisations to publicise your group.

Best of luck!

Kind regards

Richard

Hi Natasha

I forgot to say.... don´t ask for English people only, there are many non-UK expats out there who speak good English and looking for friends.

Cheers

Richard
