Thanks for your reply.... do you think its shortage of water?.... We planted from a pot back last winter, and watered (not too much) regularly, leaves began to drop-off within a week or so,

Hi watering should be done no more than 3times per week .Watering around the base of the truck ,not to scorch the leaves . which can stress the tree.

Another reason maybe the condition of the soil when removed and replanted making sure a good phosfurus fertilizer is used, making sure the hole was deep enough to let the roots spread out.

Moving of lemon tree or plant that is established can stress the plant it becomes a 50/50 weather the plant (lemon tree) will survive .

Try adding a good quality liquid fertilizer around the base of the tree .A tip is to place a plastic pipe one end in 6 inches away from trunk, and add liquid fertilizer .This will give the tree a direct hit of nutrients

Thanks Jay,

Have taken your advice and bought some liquid fertilizer.  Think I will move the tree opposite an area where our neighbour has his lemon trees.... maybe soil is better there.

Also have an orange tree which looks healthy .... leaves very green and growth good.........but no sign of flowers and NO ORANGES.  ANY ideas.

Thanks for your help

Hi Orange tree need full sun.

Depends on how old? the tree is ,young trees will flower but not produce fruit   Again make sure the soil is of good condition well fertilized and wee waters before you plant. The hole should be big enough to allow ball to. Sit comfortable allow roots to spread.Go with the above on the lemon tree plenty of sun etc.

Please keep me updated on how things go ,happy to help.
