I’ve heard that obtaining permission for a B&B is hard/next to impossible in the province of Valencia. I’ve also heard that it might be more likely to obtain permission for a “Casa Rural” can you explain the differences, google is no help for me in this case.

If you intend to open a business in Elche (re your location), then go to Elche Town Hall and get the correct advice... it's likely to be far more accurate than hearsay.

Thank you for your reply, our lawyer will certdo that. I’m still interested to find out what the difference is between a Casa Rural and a B&B.
