I'm back from 5th September and can do most days. If people want to PM me their numbers I can set up a WhatsApp group which might be easier to sort it there :)

Hi Michelle im currently living in Murcia but I thinking of relocating to Elche and as a single person is it easy to meet people . Im open to most things walking , coffee dining , keep fit thanks in advance

Hi Helen

Our group has about 20 members in total, both men and women although only about half live here full time and play every week.  We play from 10-12 every Tuesday and Friday throughout the year at Elche tennis club and have a drink and a chat afterwards.  Our most recent social function wa...

Hi Helen, I am Anabella, and I am new to Elche. I am googling Elche for info, but I don't find that much on these. Just two questions: which areas in Elche are prone to flooding? Which are the good neighborhoods to live in Elche? I am researching to buy there. Thank you.

Happy to meet new people always! X

Hi Helen and Pete - we’re Karen and Steve recently moved to Elche from the UK. We’d love to meet up for a coffee/wine. We’re in Altabix near the Ibis - message me and we can organise.

Hey!

I live in Elche for about a year now.
There are no particular areas prone to flooding. The Vinalopo river might overflow with heavy rainfall, but it doesnt affect habitable areas much. Since Elche is mostly on flat terrain: Flooding is not an issue here!

To be honest: There are no bad areas in Elche. I would only avoid Los Palmerales as my first choice. It is a bit scruffy, but never unsafe. So in general: all areas are OK, however: Some areas are better, depending on what you are looking for. Personally I like Altabix/Zona Deportiva, Portalada – Portes Encarnades & Raval.

Let me know whenever you are in Elche. Love to show you around or have a coffee.

I live just on the other end of the Zona Deportiva! Let me know when you fancy a drink, I'd love to meet other expats!

I am out of town in the next week, but after that I am happy to set a date for a cup of coffee! I need to work during daytime, but weekends and evenings are pretty much always wide open. If you prefer a coffee during daytime: My wife is more than happy to have a latte or cappuccino as well!
