I have communicated with them via WhatsApp. Yes, indeed they can. But the cost, understandably, is astronomical. Far more than hiring a car for a one way trip. But they are definitely an option, but for us only as a last resort. Thanks, IanRod, for the tip. We are staying with our plan.

Hi, I can’t advise on your route but the Corona Virus rules are changing this week in the UK. Anyone flying in to the UK After Wednesday will have to go into quarantine for 14 days on arrival. This has been announced today but full details over next few days. I believe you will have to self isolate in your own residence Ie away from others, but you need to check the full details yourself.

I drove from Alicante to Aberdeen on 24th April without any problems in continental Europe..Did get the third degree when i arrived in Dover trying to convince Customs I was going to work. I dont know why as I am a British Passport owner

You must have had the correct paperwork .as I said before I want to go home ...to another province but cant

Nobody asked for any paperwork..i will be travelling back the same way on friday
