Due to the UK leaving the EU I am now having problems ordering eliquid online & getting them delivered to Spain. Could anyone recommend a website or does anyone know of  any markets that sell them?

Morning

I rarely buy the liquid online and instead try and find a physical supplier as you never know when you might need bits.

The best one I've found is a place at La Zenia mall - prices are keen and the choice is good for liquids and devices/ batteries/ coils etc.

They have a large kiosk which is more or less outside of the Flying Tiger shop.

Each time I go I buy enough for a month or two. If you need his phone number to check his stock PM me and I'll give it to you.

Hi, I had the same problem and was recommended by a friend to try enspirar. es.  Great service (2 days) and only cost 1.60 for a 10ml bottle.  I think postage and packing was about 6.  Cheapest I've found over here.  I use menthol 6mg of nicotine.

Hi Lancelot, I hope you don't mind my asking, but what type of device do you use? I have smoked since I was a kid, and now I'm 76, I have COPD, but haven't got the strength to stop smoking. I have looked into vaping, but there are so many different devices and juice strengths, I wouldn't know which one to chose to suit my requirements. It would need to be one suitable for a heavy smoker really, and easy to use, as I'm not very good with technology! Thank you in anticipation!

Hello Mellor7, I have been smoking or vaping for a long time now.

I stopped smoking when I had a heart scare and for a while was free but as I had also stopped drinking I felt the need for some kind of vice so started vaping.

I started on the ones that look like cigarettes but over time moved up the scale and now use a smok device, the hardware, consists of a glass tank and tip within which is a coil. The electrical current passes through the coil and vaporises the liquid.

The liquids you use are essentially free of nicotine until you add nicotine to them - the heavier you are as a smoker the more nicotine you need to add.

There is a happy place to be found if you are getting your nicotine levels right. I used to smoke cigarettes and cigars and have not smoked either for over 6 years now, because my nicotine hit is still being satisfied.

Jury is out on whether nicotine itself is dangerous - in the case of cigarettes and cigars it's not the nicotine but instead the delivery system which causes the issues.

I know nothing, part from the basics, about COPD, do you have a doctor you see about this and could ask about whether a switch to vaping might be beneficial for you?

I buy 100ml of liquid, lots of flavours to choose from and surprisingly tobacco isn't the best. I then add two nicotine shots at 10ml each, these are flavourless and just provide the drug you crave.

Device wise you buy the tank, battery pack and replace the coils which heat the liquid. It's advisable to change these regularly as they can get tainted the longer you use them.

The devices are easy to maintain if you have good dexterity in your hand and wrists - they unscrew, you rinse under a tap, dry with kitchen roll, screw in a new coil and re-assemble.

The devices normally need a charger and it's advisable to have a few battery packs to ensure you can always be on the go :)

My device, or at least some of them, are in the pictures attached, two pics 1st the battery pack and tank. 2nd is the coils. I vape direct to lung which gives you a more direct hit though others go mouth to lung which mimics smoking. For someone struggling to give up tobacco mouth to lung is more effective but the technique is different to smoking a cigarette  - any more questions let me know. Cost wise Eur 100 to get you a device, buy cheap buy twice - be warned :), batteries, juice and a few spare coils.

I vape a fair bit and spend about 60 EUR a month on all the bits and bobs.

Hi Lancelot. Thank you so much for taking the trouble to give me all this brilliant information! I haven't asked my doctor about vaping yet. When I last asked for help quitting, she recommended that Nicorette BucoMist, but it tastes aweful!!

I have seen another type of device that works by heating up an actual piece of tobacco, made by a company called IQOS, who claim that it is safer than burning the tobacco, which produces the toxins, but you still get the flavour and nicotine hit. The advertisement was inside the local tobacconist, who also stock a range of vaping devices and juices.

Thanks again, and best wishes to you.
