Help! obtaining a Padron in Gran Alacant

Were you told to make an appointment (Cita Previa) at Santa Pola Town Hall via their website?  If so, you can do it here:

Under "Seleccione Agenda", choose the second box, "Peticion Certificados de Empadronamiento"

The office is open Monday to Friday (Lunes a Viernes), 9am to 1.30pm.  When I looked, the first available appointment (primer dia disponsible) was 13 November.

Select the date you want, then scroll down and select the time, then press 'Continuar'.  You'll then be presented with a form detailing your requested appointment, where you need to enter your personal details.

- Select either NIF or Pasaporte as the type of document you want to use for identification purposes.

-  In the next box, type in the number of the document you've chosen

-  Nombre (first name)

-  Primero Apellido (first surname)

-  Segundo Apellido (second surname - leave blank, or enter a dash if required)

- Asunto - put something like "Solicitud inicial de certificado de empadronamiento" (initial application for Padron)

- Check the data protection box and then press Enviar (Send)

I can't tell you what happens after that, but hopefully you'll receive confirmation of the appointment you've requested.

If you weren't told you need an appointment at Santa Pola Ayuntamiento (Town Hall), please ignore my reply! 😄

Once on the Santa Pola website. You need to go to ‘Sede electronica’. Then ‘Cita Previa’. From there you can book an appointment on the available dates. Take all the documents you mentioned and make sure you have a signed declaration from the property owner allowing you use the property for a pardon. The letting agency should have the completed form or you can download a blank one off the website. 

The offices are located just in-land from the public beach, just pass the harbour

Getting a padron will not get you a SIP card. 

For that you first need residency and then an S1 to register with your local INSS. 

Thanks yes your right, I am autonomo now, but you can not get the sip without the padron.
