Having dealt with various lawyers over the years & often found them to be (a) Incompetent (b) Expensive it would probably end up costing you more using a lawyer - as they won't do anything until you pass them a €500 payment or 3. If they think you have no money to start with, there is little incentive for them to offer much help or advice.
Spain has recently changed some of its tenancy laws and genuinely vulnerable people and families will be assessed accordingly. For those who seemingly are in it for a 'free ride', there is less support. https://elpais.com/elpais/2019/03/04/inenglish/1551692513_394392.html
There are other factors which come into play, such as the legality of the contracts and as often in Spain - are the properties being rented legally / registered. As if not, that can cause additional grief for the landlord.
