You can, though you may find it not 100% ok for full-time use & perhaps better as a secondary or in addition to a main system - as can be issues with live content.

There are also other options such as satellite TV - which is the most solid/stable best picture quality (free to air) and works out the cheapest long term, with no reliance on the internet. This is best for FTA BBC etc. Subscription free. Unless you want to put a Sky box on the end of it.

There are hosted IPTV services, which work better than Kodi type systems (or a good ones do!) as have defined channel lists & paid for hosted content (so you know what you are getting) and work on one piece of software (much like Sky or Freesat boxes) - simple to use & different/simpler and more stable than Kodi - but usually subscription attached.

Few options for you - summary yes you can, stability and likelihood of issues, quite probable, Kodi long term was the most support we've ever needed to offer in 10+ years of TV related hardware - patience is a requirement ;-)  Vast majority of people we've dealt with have 'been & gone' over Kodi type setups as moved on other options which offer better stability.

Well we have an internet cable and the satelite cabe in the box. If you ask Telecable for more info, im sure they could help you. :-)

I have just posted on a related message and am very satisfied with Telecable (on the roundabout near the chemists) which is a fairly cheap and reliable service to internet, English tv, and English radio stations with a telephone service if you have any problems who send out technicians if you need them to your home  within a day or two.
