Bus Alicante to Alicante Airport

Here is the link to the Alicante airport bus C.6.   Very convenient.  
Best advice is to use the Puerto Del Mar stop.  
From there the bus does a short loop of city center area and then proceeds to the Airport.   
It costs 3.95.   Takes approximately 20 or 30 minutes.

Ive had a look at the timetable for my own benefit - It appears to go all through Elche & takes 45mins to airport?  Correct me if I'm wrong , I havent used the service but would like to...

That particular bus C6 is very useful but no it does not travel to Elche city.

You can get on just outside the departures area of the airport.  Then the bus travels in a continuous loop of Alicante City and out again to the Airport which is the last stop.  
In the city it stops at several places, such as the main bus, train, tram stations, the Central Mercado, and beach/port area.    

The time it takes feels very short really but is dependent on how many passengers and what the traffic situation is.  About 20 or 30 minutes.  

There are buses or trains from Alicante to Elche.

You will probably find the taxis more reliable than the buses. A few years back we took the bus from the top of the Urb. to Alicante, it was 40 minutes late the first time and 30 min. late the second time.

We've ordered a taxi for Friday morning, €42.

Would you be kind enough to let me have the phone number of the taxi that you are using?
