John you and I think alike, we had the same experience when we returned in July, but I went through all the rigmarole of taking and sending off both tests, I got a negative confirmation, my wife got no confirmation of both tests, even though they were dropped in the same post box, so I will be do...

Yes it’s PCR day 2 on return to Scotland.

Can I ask if a lateral flow is enough to fly home from Spain to Scotland? I do know they recommend a pcr

Yes you can use an Antigen test ,I cant understand the wording ,recommended, why use that word ,surely they would have thought majority of people would use the cheapest test ,after all I wonder if a test was not necessary to get back would many buy tests

I’ve just been reading the info on the Gov website for Scotland. PCR is recommended but the Lateral Flow test isn’t ruled out. Just to make sure it’s the right one.

I’m going to book Lateral test in Torrevieja they seem to do test every 10mins and has plenty spaces a valuable.

Did you REGISTER your tests online before posting them ?  If not, you wasted your time posting them. All pre booked tests must be registered online otherwise, fir all they know you may have tested positive before flying home but they don’t know this.

Each and everyone of us who decides to travel owe it to our fellow man to follow the guidelines. Since lockdown, I’ve heard of people secretly going to a hairdresser, pubs, all sorts of places and that’s how covid kept on going and continues to this day because people do things their way knowing in their heart and soul that they really shouldn’t but they know best.

Follow the guidelines, do the tests and do the decent thing. Each of us enjoys travelling to various countries and we don’t have any desire to be put into lockdown again. Let’s do the right thing. It’s a little extra money and a pain in the neck but it’s a good idea to confirm sometimes.

Morning  Grannyrose  I can only talk for myself  ,I didnt register the test ,that's why il try and use them for day 2 again .I prefer to let people make up their own minds on what they should do ,while you prefer to have this hopeless ,clueless government  run your life ,fortunately I havnt had covid ,now that may be luck or good judgement on my behalf  ,this government and I include the Scottish government have been clueless regarding guidance on travel they have allowed companies to make a fortune out of people whose crime has been to go on holiday or visit their properties to enjoy them after all they are paying for upkeep of them
