Hi all. Does anyone know if it now allowed for 2 people from the same household to go shopping together?

It seems that some shops are permitting couples to shop together but only if they are not overly busy and allowing it would not deny another single shopper entry.

There is no law to answer this question, other than social distancing in public has to be adhered to. You will find it is at the discretion of each shop, if floor space is a premium why allow both Burt and Betty in when Betty can fill the basket herself. It’s a great get out clause for hubby.

And they have to lug the heavy bags, pack the car. We've never had it better! As long as they can read a list :)
