A couple of articles from the English language press in Spain:

https://www.thelocal.es/20220323/covid-19-spain-scraps-self-isolation-for-asymptomatic-and-mild-cases/

https://www.surinenglish.com/spain/changes-covid-isolation-20220323095749-nt.html

Appears that isolation is not mandatory in all cases.

Agreed Aitche1401  but isolationis surely the sensible thing to do.

For me the sensible thing to do would be to follow the guidelines, but it is for individuals to decide which best suits their situation. The Spanish medical authorities have published the guidelines, which presumably they believe are reasonable and safe.

A dear friend of mine tested positive on 12th had cold symptoms, he was good enough to let us know as we had seen him a couple of days before. He’s in isolation for 5 days and we took a test to be on safe side. Can’t afford to get complacent

Hope you’re ok
