Almost 5weeks since applying to change our Residencia to Tie. Do they contact you when it is available for pick up

Hi Witold999,

No, they don't contact you.  You can check your Lote number against the current batch being issued by phoning them on (00 34) 965 125 531 - if your Lote number is lower, you can go and collect it.  You don´t need an appointment - the address for the collection office is in my guide to exchanging; it's open until 2pm on weekdays, but avoid Thursdays as that's market day and you'll struggle to get parked.

Kind regards,

Kim

No they don’t contact you. You should have been given a timescale when you went for your fingerprint appointment and you should have a Lote number on your receipt, When they are up to your number it’s ready for collection.  The address for collection could also be different from your original appointment, but again that should be on your paperwork.

Presuming that this is Alicante that you you are collecting from, you don’t need an appointment, you just join the queue.

You can check the latest Lote number here.
