My wife brought her medical records with her when we moved to Spain.

Her doctors surgery in UK Printed them off for £10.00 but that was 8 years ago.

There is no mechanism for the transfer of medical records between countries and never has been so if you want yours you will have to approach your UK GP surgery who can supply you with copies of what they have, there will very likely be a charge for the service.

It will of course be in English!

We obtained a short précis version printed out, plus the full version on CD. Our allocated GP had not the slightest interest in any of it, and the doctor who replaced her when she retired has never asked. The UK cost was 100 each, plus we would have had to have it translated if they had been interested here!

My GP medical records are available via the NHS app along with my Covid info'.

You have to request access from your GP in the UK but then they're available wherever you travel
