Sophie

I answered you yesterday with correct info when using a courier, but if you are driving your belongings yourself, you have to apply for the TOR yourself from gov.co.UK website and you need proof you are moving  permanently and deregistered in Spain to obtain exemption.

So sorry to have asked again. I've been on the web site. I'm not driving, going by air.

Thank you once again for your help

Sophie, do you mean you are asking about customs charges on your items you are taking back by plane? You are not talking about a courier taking your stuff back then. If so then I misunderstood your question as you didn't mention the method of transporting. You are entitled to a duty free allowance of £390 as a personal allowance when bringing goods into Uk by air, as per gov. UK. You only need to declare if you exceed that amount (clothing not counted). If you do have more then you will need that TOR form to avoid excess duty. Hope this helps you
