Hi, I have tried the link but it doesn’t seem to work, any suggestions please ?

Thanks

Margi

If you copy and paste the link it should work, it did for me. Just trying to open it as printed on here isn't a link and won't work. Good luck 🙂

She says from Holland ! No airlines allow animals in the cabins.

This is not correct.

Most IATA Airlines allow cats or dogs up to a maximum of 5kg. And in a pet carrier bag that fits under the seat in front of you.

A pet-in-cabin fee is normally charged and you must inform the airline in advance as there are restrictions.

Try and avoid at all cost your pet to be transported in the holds. A professional tip.

Kind regards,

A B747 Captain.

I’m coming from Aberdeen and they don’t allow pets out of our Airport hence why we’re flying from a Glasgow and was told by KLM I couldn’t take him back into the UK ?? KLM max weight is 8kg and Transavia is heavier

Try typing the olive press spain into google?  Don't know if you will find what you're looking for but it's worth a go!

Well, I would challenge ABZ regarding this, as not allowing pet-in cabin is an AIRLINE decision, and not an airport one, especially not a third-rate dump with about the worst and rudest security of Europe, like Aberdeen Int. 🙄

They truly are useless at that place. Sorry to rant, but my experiences with ABZ are absolutely abysmal to say the least.

Hi Everyone, thanks for all the replies, what i am actually asking is Do you Think they will EXTEND the December 31st deadline for coming to Live in Spain, due to the Lockdown we are all faced with, as I can’t see me being ready with all this going on and was hoping they will give us Longer or my dream will be over before its begun ☹️

Thank You

Regards

Hiya. This's also what I'm wondering about. Up until Dec 31st i understand Spain will accept British under their existing regs but after that date those regs will likely change. Probably in connection with things like the amount of money you need to have in the bank but I'm only guessing. I also guess that Spain may not have actually set the new regs yet considering the last minute brexit saga and the current virus crisis. These are only my thoughts on what I've been reading over the last few months. I think we're wanting an answer to a question that can't be answered at the mo. But Spain will probably need our revenue even more after COVID19 to help revive their economy so I'm guessing again that they wont make it too difficult for us to become residents there ? Stay safe x

My main reason to get residencia before 31 Dec was that the UK will still honour S1 healthcare when you're pension age (which I'm not at the moment)....so we were expecting to pay for healthcare in Spain for xx years until we hit pension age but in the knowledge that at that point we could still get S1 and have it for free ongoing.  That's a UK decision.  I contacted the British Embassy in Spain to ask this and they basically said, there will be not extension on the date, it is set in UK law and that they hope we get into spain after lockdown, wishing us well.

The second reason was the amount of income spain will require and I'm hoping like you say that they might make this reasonable to encourage brits to keep coming and boost the economy?!!?  That's Spain's decision.
