Hi I live in lanzarote. We brought our dog over when he was nearly 9 years been here just over 4 years. In the heat of summer he stays inside and goes out side later at the evening. He has his walk early morning. They do get used to the heat also make sure they have water down at all times.

Hi we brought him over with monarch that was 4 years ago now. But he came on the same flight as us. He had to be at the airport 3 hours before. We used a company they also supplied the crate he travelled in. It cost us £650 for the flight and crate. Let me get back to you with the name of the company I used I've had a mental block lol. Just checked it's TFL Logistics you can Google it and there email address should come up. Hope this helps.

Hello
I brought my 3 cats and 2 dogs over with me. They all adapted really well. I did exactly the same as the other writer as regards their runs. A definite yes about plenty of water down. I also had both dogs trimmed for the first time to help in the heat, and put sun block on the cats ears.
If you take the dogs to a bar ask for water for them if none is down.
Mine travelled by road with a pet carrier, but I have also driven over with the dogs.
Yours will be fine!

They will love it here mine sit in the sun but when it’s too warm they find shade themselves , we have a big kennel they like plenty of water , trimmed coat, don’t take them out walking when it’s hot morning or evenings only .remember hot ground will burn ther pads and hurt their eyes , they will adapt themselves. We came over here by boat then drove through Spain no problems at all .
The only concern we do have is this time of year the prossesional caterpillars are out and they are deadly to dogs so you have to check your trees for nests we have found two so far this year ! And destroyed them they are a concern for dogs and humans as they are poisoness .Good luck but you’ll be fine x

I brought my 2 dogs over to Playa Flamenca 20 years ago, they adapted very well, sadly they passed away so we adopted 2 more, they also got on really well ( in the pool) so go ahead!! John.

We have resently purchased an apartment in La Zenia and I’m coming over in a few weeks time with my little dog. After much research he is able to come on the plane with me. K L M is dog friendly. As he is a small dog ( chihuahua) he goes under the seat in his travel bag, though you cannot fly back into uk this way.
