Nothing but problems and bad reception with fiber optic with this company, although I have noticed lots of new installation in the area it might be due to this, fiber optic should be received between 250mps and 1000 and this company provides at 39mps and sometimes 150kbps. Terrible, has anyone else similar problems, is there an alternative as I think all these companies are using the same system, and linking onto the same optic cables ,

Yeah something not quite right bout any of these providers down here on the CB!
it’s like ice cream van wars back home! Avatel have gone AWOL, can’t get an engineer to visit anymore. I had to get my internet provider to sort out my TV reception on a recent visit to my home. Fixed the problem in 5 mins!! No charge, no fuss.
Still with Avatel due to contract but maybe not for that much longer.Will Probrably change to IN provider for TV eventually given the current state of play.
And as for their SHOP in the Boulevard(Avatel) WTF is going on there?
