I recommend Orihuela Costa Phone Shop just round the corner from KFC in Cabo Roig.  The owner is called Kike and I am sure he will provide what you need.  However I do know he is closed now until 27 December.  Tel. 643 150 700.

I got around this by having a UK based Lebara sim card, £5 per month which includes unlimited texts and calls, 2gb data and 100 international minutes which is great if I need to call Spain from the UK.

You can buy the sim month by month so no annual contract, I put the sim in a spare phone but you could also use your own phone if it has dual sim ports.

I changed my sim only contract from Tesco to O2 last year when Tesco cancelled free roaming. O2 is now the only service that allows roaming as part of contract. Weirdly though Tesco piggy backs on O2's network so don't understand why they cancelled the roaming. Maybe time to change your sim.

I was in a similar situation, Sky mobile piggy backing O2.

My solution above was with the long term in mind as I thought it would only be a matter of time before O2 followed all the others and removed free roaming.

Have O2 made any commitments do you know ?

Ken.

Hi Ken

I changed in summer and all they said was its included for your contract (1year) Tesco did continue roaming upto January 2023 but I needed to renew with Tesco or leave. I think maybe I made a small mistake in that at the O2 shops their contracts were 2 yrs but direct with O2 online I went for a 1 Yr one incase I was disappointed with O2. I was very happy being with Tesco for 10yrs so O2 I was wary. I shouldn't have been as my only bugbear has been slower customer service attention. Yes maybe they too will stop but hopefully not until I get my next 3mnthly visit next year.

Regards

Dave

Coincidence for me, the sim was initially advertised at £3 per month for the first 3 months in FB pages.
