No Steve

Just your Vaccination certificate and Spanish locator form.

The wording in the mail is a bit confusing, if they used and/or in between the requirements it would help.

Ken

We are flying to the UK tomorrow and was told we have to have proof of a negative covid test. So have booked to have that done.

Should we cancel?

No. The change comes into effect on the 4th.

Hi, I now (after traveling and advise from others) think it would be better for you to Print Out everything you need to travel and have it all in one envelope or pocket in bag…. then you are not trying to find some on phone and some on paper…. Or worry that you battery is going flat ! All in One Place x

I’m due to fly out to Spain with Ryanair on Sat, and have received an e-mail which is somewhat confusing me, which states

Other mandatory documents required

Passengers who after submitting the electronic Health Control form will be issued with a QR code and description “DOCUMENTAL CHECK” on it, must present a:,
1) certificate/document certifying vaccination, 2) a negative Covid-19 test result or 3) a d...

...ocument certifying you have recovered Covid-19 to enter Spain.

I am double jabbed, so satisfy criteria no.(1), but wasn’t aware that I need a negative Covid-19 test result (2) or  letter confirming recovery from Covid (3) (which doesn’t apply as I’ve not had Covid)

Basically I’m asking do I need a negative test to be done before flying out?

Hi

We came 30/8 here until November, we brought our proof of vaccinations and the spanish locater form which completed  48 hours be travel and the QR code is given then, we printed them , no problem,

Warning - my son left it to the last minute and the website had problems and he couldn’t complete it.  He went to the airport and Ryanair refused to let him on the flight.  Had to get another flight the next day.  DO NOT LEAVE IT TO JUST BEFORE YOU TRAVEL.

That's good advice, but you can complete both Locator forms 48 hours before travelling so I'm not sure why anyone would wait until going to the airport to do it.

Just flew in yesterday. No you don't. Either double jabbed proof OR proof of a negative test within 72 hours of flying. Plus the QR code generated when you fill in the Spanish travel form. Basically, you are checked upon arrival for 2 things :)

Further to this topic, I would welcome any reassurance about procedure at the airport. I am returning to the UK on Saturday and have been trying to upload my documents to the Verify app suggested by BA. No success.  It seems to be the most incompetent app that I have ever seen; it refuses to accept either my QR code from my phone or from the printed NHS letter as being valid.  I am assuming that I am still able to check in at the airport and present these documents for scrutiny at the desk if all else fails.  Am I correct? Thank you.  Graham.
