Does anyone know where I can buy packets of vegetable seeds, especially tomatoes. None of the garden centres seem to stock any.

How about growing tomatoes from the seeds of fresh tomatoes? There are plenty of YouTube videos. It looks cheap and easy .. though I haven’t tried it myself, as I’m allergic to tomato plant stems and leaves. Good luck.

Unfortunately some of them are hybrid won't grow true to type from the seeds in the fruit.
