Fwiw, when we bought our holiday home, our solicitor helped us set up with Sabadell. Post brexit, the fees increased and we changed to Starling. No issues really, but not all utilities will do direct debits even though it has an iban, I spent a lot of time quoting legislation and got nowhere! But I just pay online now when the bill comes through, using my euro account in Starling. I'm sure Wise is just as good.

Agamed and iberdrola won't do direct debits, but suma and insurance, fine.

You could perhaps just open the account for the transaction then close it? A faff but maybe simpler in the short term. All the best!
