Hi, has anyone had the jab against Covid, and where would I get it, publicly or privately.

Not heard anything about it.

Many thanks

Jean

As far as I am aware it's still care home residents and frontline health workers who are being vaccinated. Although it's been widely reported in El Pais that some care home managers have been inviting their family and friends to get vaccinated, and in Valencia 3 mayors have received the vaccination even though they were not in the priority groups to be vaccinated, apparently an investigation is underway. Make of that what you will.

According to our local Pharmacy we will be contacted by text or phone call, assuming you have a Spanish number.

Things are going a little more slowly than in the UK plus I understand there is some delay in the EU member states getting delivery of more Pfizer vaccine, so at the moment it's anyone's guess when they will move on to the next group especially with the queue jumping that appears to be going on.I can't give you any idea where the mass vaccination centres will be based either, but I know our Pharmacy wont be helping in the vaccination roll out, that may change at sometime in the future we will have to wait and see. Sorry I can't give you any idea where you could get a vaccination privately, someone on the forum may know.

No I haven't heard anything from Yo Salud in Cobo Roig yet about the vaccination and I'm over 80 years, they send you a message on the phone, I think it will be a while yet,

Hope this helps

Hello,

Thank you for the info. sorry to say that does not surprise me (queue jumping) with the Spanish, law unto themselves.

I suppose it's wait and see,

Thanks and Regards Jean
